Hello, Charles here. Yea, the co-founder.
A lot has happened since we last sent out this newsletter. We’ve gone through lots of iterations, broken and fixed a lot of things but altogether, the journey to build an augmented reality company from Lagos has been an exciting one.
For starters, I’ll do a quick summary of what has happened or changed in different areas of the company starting with the team.
The Team
The team has evolved from just Derrick, our CEO/experience director. As you’ve read from above, I joined Euphoria Labs as a co-founder and would be leading our design and product marketing efforts.
Fabian and Ada joined also and are handling the company’s social media and operations respectively.
Cardlio
Cardlio now has a website for anyone to place an order for a personalized augmented reality business card. Previously, cards were ordered via a Paystack payment page.
The new website has more pages and content to really tell our story and answer questions that our customers have about us and our product. Have a look. I’d also love feedback from you about it.
Also, we’re working on a new design for the AR experience. It’s simple, has a minimal design and can contain more contact details of your choice. We can’t wait to share it with you.
That’s that about the company update for now.
From the Outside
“A lot of Nigerians use low-end devices that aren't AR-enabled. AR/VR is still seen as a fun/gamified experience. People don't see it as a solution to a lot of problems they currently face. There's a need to educate the market about the possibilities” that’s Derrick on the Insights and adoption of AR/VR technologies in Nigeria; Past, Present, and Future.

We’re still experimenting with a lot of things and the industry is very well still in its early days, especially in Nigeria. We’d be sending out notes every once in a while about whats happening at Euphoria Labs and the AR industry at large.
Please subscribe to receive subsequent updates from the Euphoria Labs team. Have a great day.
